A mood

So, I’ve been thinking about making a mood board about this time (because one of my first impulses is to make mood boards about EVERYTHING). & while I was worried it wasn’t a healthy (or appropriate?!) response to the global crisis we’re all trying to live through, I did find myself collecting images that felt true to something I’m feeling.

Recently, Katherine McKittrick tweeted:

& I thought that it’s kind of silly at all to be worried about not processing the right way. So I’m sharing some images that I’ve organized into a mood board.

When I looked at the images together, themes that stuck out to me were superficial boundaries (like gloves & masks) and consumption. But mostly, I think it’s about wanting to connect with people and wanting to celebrate those connections. To me, that says that there are still things worth being hopeful about.
